Judd Martin
January 18, 1981 - November 30, 2025
It is with very heavy hearts that we inform our followers, fellow hunters, and Martin Hollow family that Judd Martin went home to be with the Lord on Sunday November 30th, 2025 due to complications from pneumonia that he didn't know he had. This was an unexpected loss that we are not sure we will ever recover from. Please keep Judd’s wife, Kellie, and children - Navey and Hank, in your prayers, as well as Judd’s dad and camp cook - Greg, his nephew and head guide - Cayden, friend and guide - Reid, as well as all of his family and friends. We are very grateful for all of your support, friendships, hunts, and memories over the last ten years. Judd was always extremely grateful for the opportunity to live his dream of sharing his passions for the great outdoors and hunting with others. He will always be greatly missed and forever loved and remembered. When you see a big ol' axis buck standing proud or hear a turkey gobble in the distance, we hope you will think of him.

We currently offer year round axis and exotic hunting, spring turkey hunting, and fall whitetail hunting on 30,000+ acres and hold a 100% harvest rate on exotics. Judd Martin was born and raised in northern Louisiana where he spent his youth in the swamps and woods studying deer and learning how to find the best spot to put his tree stand. He has guided hunts for whitetail, turkey, and axis on various ranches in Sonora, Texas for the past 15 years and has a strong understanding of the land and the wildlife that inhabits it. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Judd started Martin Hollow Outfitters because he enjoys sharing his love of the outdoors and an authentic and successful hunting experience with others.

Along with hunting, Judd loves his family and God. He believes that spending time outdoors - whether it be in the woods, mountains, or fields -is one of life's greatest blessings. He currently lives in Mason, Texas with his wife and two children.

Cayden Martin also grew up in northern Louisiana and, like his Uncle Judd, spent much time in the swamps and woods hunting deer. Cayden shot his first deer when he was four and has been an avid hunter ever since. He has chosen to pursue his passion for hunting as a career and is now offering his experience as a guide for Martin Hollow Outfitters.
When Greg Martin became a father, he was sure of one thing - that he would instill the love of hunting in each of his three sons. He did just that by passing on his passion for the outdoors when taking them to the swamps and woods of his family's land as soon as they could keep up. He now joins his son and grandson in continuing the Martin hunting legacy by serving as camp cook and guide.
